THE DREAM JOURNAL OF DOCTOR JEKYLL

written collaboratively by
Jason Adams, Scott Barsotti, Randall Colburn, Bob Fisher, Reina Hardy,
Warwick Johnson and Jeremy Menekseoglu.

directed by Bob Fisher

THE DREAM JOURNAL OF DOCTOR JEKYLL - Professor Oliver Mastodon Peale invites you to view his cabinets of wonder where you will witness his troupe of sleepwalkers hypnotized into the belief that they are characters from the pages of The Dream Journal of Doctor Jekyll.

Who or what was Dr. Henry Jekyll? When police detectives arrived at the apartments of Dr. Jekyll, they found his body completely eviscerated in the bedchamber and resting on the table beside his midnight oil was a tattered and torn journal filled with imagery so bizarre that the police assumed it to be a catalog of the doctor's dreams. But was it? Is this journal memoir or fantasy? Professor Peale invites his audience to analyze the journal's cryptic narrative while Peale's pet somnambulists reenact the feverish stories inside The Dream Journal of Doctor Jekyll.

Forget what you know from the penny dreadful written by Robert Louis Stevenson. The Dream Journal of Doctor Jekyll exposes the legendary figure in a manner more faceted, more fantastical than ever before. Prepare for a pageant populated with Conjoined sisters, Schizophrenics, Parasitical Twins, Deviant "Hunchfronts", rabid felines and diabolical entities from the ‘other side’

Meet the Cast - Vinny Lacey

Vincent Lacey is playing "Radio Howard" in THE MEATLOCKER. He is an actor, writer, producer, and otherwise multi-functional talent. His Mom always said he had a face for radio, so playing this part is a dream come true. For his mother. Vincent has trained with a lot of improv and comedy theaters in the great city of Chicago and enjoyed almost all of them. He was most recently in WNEP's production The (edward) Hopper Project. He is Associate Producer of the Chicago Fringe Festival (Pilsen 2010!) and occasionally you can find him on TV trying to sell you something. He thanks the Mammals and especially Bob Fisher for casting him and being the older brother he never wanted.

Come see Vinny call the fights at THE MEATLOCKER
