Meet the Cast - Gene Van Dyke
Gene Van Dyke is playing both "Lumberjack Larou" and "Danny's Mother" in THE MEATLOCKER grew up in an unknown small town in the unterlands and swamps of the Ohio Valley, officially a “spit’s throw” from Pittsburgh, PA. He is very pleased that the Mammals have voted to allow him to participate in his first production at the Zoo. If Gene could speak out of turn this very instant, he would mention Bob’s inspirational tolerance. He also appreciates the cab rides home his wife Nicolle surprises him with on occasion.
Come See Gene in our show!

Meet The Cast - Gabe Garza
Gabe Garza, playing "Rudy the Rhino", has been acting in Chicago for a decade. THE MEATLOCKER is his second Mammals production. The Mammals just can't get enough of him. We believe he is the perfect amalgamation of Zero Mostel and Marlon Brando. Last year he starred as "Dumdum" in DEVILS DON'T FORGET. He is thrilled to be working with such a wonderful cast and crew. Come check him out in THE MEATLOCKER

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Mammals Theatre Company presents
THE MEATLOCKER
written and directed by Bob Fisher
THE MEATLOCKER is the tale of a boxer haunted by demons from his past warning that if he goes down for the full ten count, even if it's a dive, he wont ever get back up. Every time the boxer steps on the mat, he is fighting for his life. The real trouble occurs when the boxer meets a bookie who wont take no for an answer to a fixed fight.
THE MEATLOCKER is the third of three plays in a cycle entitled THE NOIR TRIPTYCH. Part ONE was BREED WITH ME, produced in January of 2010. Part TWO was DEVILS DON'T FORGET, previously presented in Spring of 2009.

Hey! Just Who The Heck Is In This Thing!?
RE: The MEATLOCKER
Folks are asking... "Hey! I don't get it. You got some folks who are in the show that we haven't seen yet on the blog. And, you got folks who aren't in the show in some of these graphics! What gives?"
Here's what gives. The Mammals are working on a production of MEATLOCKER opening this April 16th, and we have been working slowly but surely on a graphic novel version of the project since last year. Some of the folks who worked with us a year ago on photoshoots, etc. were a great help in laying down the ground work for the graphic novel still in development. Some of these folks will be in the upcoming production, some have committed to other projects this spring. But, they are all beloved by the Mammals and close friends.
We will be sharing some of the concept art work that was developed using images of these folks. Also, we will be bring you images of the newest cast members as well.
We hope you'll enjoy!
